The Ladies Restful Retreat was held

August 14" and 15" at the River House Christian Retreat

and Prayer Center in Boston which borders the Youghiogheny River and

the Bike and Walking Trail which goes from Pittsburgh to Cumberland,

Maryland. Seventeen ladies attended this two-day retreat. This location

was chosen because of the closeness to our church and the special

ministry that it stands for --"Bringing God's Love into People's Lives'.'

as well as because of the many options that were available for the ladies

to enjoy together. Many praises were given during last Sunday's service

from the ladies who attended. They thoroughly enjoyed all that was

planned by Pastor Colleen. They laughed, they cried, they enjoyed each

other's fellowship, they sang together and loved the harmony by Barb,

Melanie and Kelly, they had quality prayer time for personal and for

others, and they especially enjoyed the time of Praise and Worship and

the Ministry of the Word. They are hoping to have another one next year

at the same place.
